I have been very impressed with the London HN meetup: http://www.meetup.com/HNLondon/ http://www.meetup.com/HNLondon/ ~250 attendees, pizza, beer, comedians and great talks from people like Stripe, Facebook & CityMapper. Well worth travelling to from outside London.
