I'm a little bit sad to see the touchless base kindle go away. I have both a kindle paperwhite and the previous base, touchless model, and the text is noticeably more recessed underneath the physical display on the paperwhite -- presumably to accomadate the touch sensor and the light. So even though it's higher DPI, the actual reading experience feels more analog/physical-paper-like on the classic, touchless kindle.
