This looks nice but there are a ton of issues around pyobjc. I've never been able to successfully install it on 10.9.

- pudquick 12y agoThis is because you don't need to. Especially for this particular script. If you're using the natively included python, pyobjc comes free. As soon as I saw that mentioned in the documentation, I knew this project was going to have issues.
- johndoze 12y agoI'm familiar with python bridges at all - how would someone transition something with pyobjc as a dependency to the native alternative you mention?
- pudquick 12y agoYou misunderstand. OS X has shipped with python for quite some time. In addition, OS X python started including a build of pyobjc since OS X 10.5 You literally can fire up python from the terminal on OS X 10.5 and later and type: import Foundation and it will "just work". No additional installs required.
