I don't think you understand how Dart works. You can compile Dart to JS, which you can then run vanilla on any browser. There was no way to do anything remote

I don't think you understand how Dart works. You can compile Dart to JS, which you can then run vanilla on any browser. There was no way to do anything remotely similar with ActiveX. Calling "Dart" part of a walled garden doesn't make sense.
