Yeah. I have attempted to make edits in the past and in my experience it is like slamming your head into a brick wall no matter how (verifiably) right you are and how uncontroversial your edits should be are. I still use it to look things up all the time, but I haven't even tried to make an edit (even when I see known and easily verifiable wrong information) in years.
