London Stock Exchange migrating from .NET to Oracle/UNIX platform?

• known 17y ago
I was leading a development team in .Net for a Norway Automobile client and I must say .Net is a big PITA.

    How so?

if by PITA you mean versatile, and useful for many dishes then yes! I use it on a daily basis (i work for a consulting company that does .NET development, PHP, Java, cold fusion, and ROR) .NET is still my preference out of all those technologies. Before I did any of those I created a platform for building and managing virtual servers (was about 90% managed .NET code) It has done nothing but make my life easier.
