I am an amateurish Linux user and my setup is very similar to you, and I am just starting to lisp (Arch Linux, lots of stuff in Emacs, and SBCL/CCL/ECL; I am trying them all). It is very encouraging to see you work and I really need to get up to speed on the Lisp. Also, I am a Recoll fan too. Great stuff!
