You could use Inkscape for that -- it generates an SVG file that can be manipulated with javascript by adding a <script> tag. For an example, see: http://hausen.github.io/control.svg http://hausen.github.io/control.svg and http://hausen.github.io/control.js http://hausen.github.io/control.js . No need to postprocess anything!
