Yea I've seen people making the hand motion on the side of the road around here quite a few times. It's not so much a wagging of the finger as a constant pointing downwards, like you're tapping on an invisible desk.
It makes sense, there isn't very many taxis in the area. They mostly hang around the airport and downtown.
- pessimizer 12y agoThe funniest thing about it is that if you're doing it and notice an actual cab approaching, you quickly put your hand down. People prefer hacks.
