- dredmorbius 12y agoAlso probably more durable. Loon is a one-shot mission lasting at best a few weeks. I suspect the ultimate limit is UV degradation of the mylar balloon envelope. The fact that you'd be littering the planet with yet more plastic (though on a pretty small scale) also comes to mind.
