- collyw 12y agoCelery is an overcomplicated mess with too many moving parts in my experience. Django on the other hand works well and doesn't overcomplicate things.

- amirmansour 12y agoMigrations are something almost every app is going to need, and the same can't be said for a distributed task queue. So it wouldn't make sense to add Celery to the Django core.
