No. Take Lua on a date instead. Much, much friendlier language, and very powerful to boot. She even pays her part of the check.

- taternuts 12y agoYou still have to use and know javascript if you want to do anything useful inside a browser. There's a ton of friendlier and more powerful languages than javascript but it doesn't mean it'd be as useful to him to know them. I think javascript is more like the girl you were arranged to be married to that is really cool in some ways, and can look good sometimes, but overall wouldn't be your first choice if you .....well, had a choice.
