This times a thousand. The reason Agile worked is because skilled professionals who wanted to do software better did it properly. Sadly there was lots of money to be made by certifying unskilled professionals who suddenly flooded the market and couldn't do software better but made it hard to find the good guys. I knew there were serious issues when at an Agile meetup recently I had attendees having a go at me for daring to suggest that some process might be needed for dealing with staff who are either inexperienced, or unprofessional.
