I wonder how much it applies to digital electronics though.

  There's a bunch of stuff (maybe half the book) about digital electronics. It's frozen in time in the late 80s, but that's sufficient for me right now. I think there's a third edition coming out soon, which should help bring its digital stuff up to date.
