We've been running ZFS on Linux in production at MixRank for 6 months. We push it hard and haven't had any issues yet. We're using arrays of 18x Intel 530 240GB SSDs in raidz2. It's performing very well: 697k read, 260k write IOPS; 3768 MB/s read, 1614 MB/s write throughput. I recommend it, but only after you've done enough research to feel comfortable with all of ways to configure it and understand the internals from a high level. For a personal setup though, you can just install it and forget it.
