That's your TOC at the end of 15 years of owning the car. What was it in 1999 at the start? Personally, I wouldn't be excited about the fact that my car had fewer safety features. My friend used to extoll the virtues of owning a 94' Camry cost wise. All well and good until you get into a car accident. What do you value your own personal safety at? I put it way, way, higher than the cost difference between an old beater and a new highly rated car.
