Poll: What timezone are you in?
Please use standard time in giving your answer. For example, my clocks are currently set to UTC-4 for United States Eastern Daylight Time, but I picked UTC-5. Also, if any of you are from timezones not listed, please leave a comment: the only +:30 timezone I put in is +5:30 for India.
- JacobAldridge 17y agoWill be interesting to see how the results shift over the course of a day. I'm in the early stages of my work day (9am Tuesday), so most of Europe is currently in bed.

- moe 17y agoI'd locate myself in UTC++ as I'm effectively cycling through them over the course of a month.
- spectre 17y agoIt'll be interesting to see how many weird time zones get added. A friend of mine lives in UTC+12:45.
- zackham 17y agoI'm thinking most people that responded UTC-8 are actually UTC-7 currently due to DST...

- jmah 17y agoI'm in Adelaide, South Australia UTC+09:30 (although currently UTC+10:30 DST). I voted for UTC+10.
- laut 17y agoTimezones are more than UTC offsets. If only it were that simple. The model might work in the US with about 4 timezones, where summertime changes on the same dates. But some places don't observe summertime, some change on different dates than others, where I am it's not even summer right now, it's winter, and so on. You can have the same UTC offset as someone else on a certain date, but still be in a different timezone. Something every programmer doing something involving time zones should think about IMO. - radu_floricica 17y agoGiven the average duration of a post here it will be pretty influenced by post time.
