Ignoring your obnoxious and ill-placed reply, I (and others) responded specifically to what you said, which was that the "debate" in your household was about "you need to be the best at a narrow skill and you do that by working really hard at what you are already naturally good at from as early as possible" This seems tragically naive, and in all likelihood terribly destructive of future success, rather than supporting it.
