Oh I live on the east coast and experienced this from DC to Baltimore to Philadelphia to New York. Again, not everyone in the "scene," is a dBag, it's just jarring to meet and encounter a large percentage of them! It makes starting up and doing a start up a whole lot tougher, but whatever you just do it because you are driven no matter how you are treated.
