Native speakers of English will say "one point one mile from XXX", I'm also a native speaker, and I've never heard a single instance of that usage. For "mile", or for any other unit of linear unit of measurement (which would otherwise take the default conjugation according to number). Excepting, of course, for 8 Mile.
