It has, but it is not abvious and thus a bad title. If the future of Linux (the kernel) is to be used on Tablets or other non-desktop-computer thingies, we may need other desktop environments (like Gnome 3). As this is questionable, a desktop-focused DE like KDE with the ability to later adapt to those seems like a good choice. But yeah, it's vague and using one corner too much. Linux Desktops would have been the better term.
