For what language?

  C->MIPS. It's for a class, but it's consuming most of my free time. The classroom instruction is good but we're largely on our own as far as implementation goes (though it has to be written in C or C++). We only have to finish a subset of C, and I'm not planning to take it any further.

    Neat! You should write your compiler in the same subset of C, so it can be self-hosting. ;-)
