What’s 250M Light-Years Big, Almost Empty, and Full of Answers?
- templeos2 12y agoidentity-mapping means fragmentation. each file is processed by reading the whole thing. Freed memory chucks can only be reused for the same size. when you make a distribution, you go through 700 files and load them into maybe 6K pieces and fragments stuff. ---- The good news is -- it is exclusively 64-bit and every single 64-bit machine has 512Meg and up. what's it to you, nigger?
