This is cool. Ive been using my v1 contour roam every day for about a year and the battery life is starting to suck. I went on amazon to buy a new contour roam

Contour went out of business late last year and closed shop. An investment group that was involved with the company before bought up what was left and is supposedly going to be releasing new products in the near future here, but most of what you're going to find is old stock, which is why the prices have gone up. (I have a V1 Roam that I love as well. The form factor is just so much better than a GoPro for a lot of things).

What I love about the Contour+2 is that the battery is compatible with old Nokia phone batteries, which makes it very cheap to have a bunch of charged batteries in reserve.
