You are correct. I have been saying this for a while. Facebook has fundamentally replaced the key ingredient of email, that is: the ability of people to reach out to each other easily. If one builds it properly, Facebook is a good replacement for email's Address Book. Beyond that, it is not much more. I am not removing myself, nor even going to delete from Facebook, because ultimately, it all boils down to how we can manage ourselves with discipline.
