Just 5 minutes ago I was working with a developer who, after pulling up Google in her browser, immediately started checking her text size settings thinking somehow they became mis-configured.

- erlanger 17y agoThe first thing I noticed was the changed spacing between the links and their underlines. It always looks unnatural when a frontend dev does this. Source: h3.r a { border-bottom: 1px solid #2200CC; }
- ironkeith 17y agoSome people prefer it because it doesn't overlap your descenders, but it bothers me too.
- amalcon 17y agoHah. I just got my X font server working yesterday, and I just assumed it was somehow related to that. Guess not.
