I don't follow. How does free will+determinism imply an outside influence? I see no convincing reason that an entirely deterministic thing can't have "free will". Though I don't remember ever having found a definition of "free will" that I've found satisfactory. I don't think compatibilism implies a belief in anything "supernatural" though. (quotes to indicate things potentially not being exactly the right term, or other similar indications)
