I say this as someone who has never played the equilty/founding game, but seems like this would be something to get locked down now. I'm guessing it could come back on you in a lot of not-fun ways. That isn't to say he shouldn't have anything going forward. But some %, year cliff, and then vest over the next 3 would let you see the value he brings to the realities of the business.
