What exactly is the argument you are making? Smoking is legal and I don't remember the last time someone forced me to inhale. The flu vaccine is legal, and last I checked you had to go to a hospital and demand it, they don't just stick you with it automatically every winter.
- randallsquared 17y agoThat has nothing to do with the argument he's making. He's saying that the mental health effects on practitioners in the field should be considered.
- inklesspen 17y agoHow about the mental health effects on the soon-to-be-deceased? Plenty of people want to be able to control the timing of their death to preserve whatever dignity they can; witness Terry Pratchett's statement on the matter, for instance.
