Interesting that DeSoto fails to mention why people seek out Uber. Kim seems to be focused on the medallions pricing structure completely ignoring user advantages such as ease of access through the app, reliable service, quality, etc, etc. If cab companies don't realize that new services beat them to the punch in many areas besides pricing they won't survive.
