I would say Bitcoin, although my background is a little different to yours. I primarily get hired to build Web applications which deal with some type of bitcoin payment (no bitpay or coinbase), so it makes sense for me to be paid in Bitcoin. I'm a Bitcoin evangelist, so I generally pay for most things with bitcoin, so I don't have the issue of converting it to fiat.
