So when you glance at your car dashboard do you look for "DEFROST" or "RADIO POWER"? No, you look for cues based on positioning, size, and the icon on the button.
- cjbos 17y agoCars are sold in many different countries. Having a single "Icon" helps reduce the costs of internationalization. Still think a "Defrost" button would make more sense to me considering how often I use it, I never can find the bugger when I need it.
- ars 17y agoI would love to look for "DEFROST", but I'm not given the choice. In my car I know the location. In a new car, you try it out. In no case does the icon help very much. Try figuring out the difference between the icon for the front vs. the rear defrost.
