Personally, I don't use Twitter anymore because I don't care for many of the changes they have made. I'm not talking about the advertising but the UI changes that is too busy. And the last time I created an account, Twitter had greatly complicated its settings, not to mention constantly badgering me to follow people. Twitter, Gmail, and Flickr all followed the same path: nice, functional interfaces that were needlessly complicated over time.
