That sounds like the kind of thing someone from Microsoft would be happy to post.
I find it hard to believe that you could successfully earn $125,000 in a matter of a few days with a new website, and yet not know A) how to place ads correctly, or B) that your account could be frozen. I guess I'm just in the wrong line of work. :)
I'm glad you've found a solution for yourself, but I still find your story hard to believe. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof, and all that.

Are you trying to get sued? Because this is how you get sued. > I'm glad you've found a solution for yourself, but I still find your story hard to believe. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof, and all that. I too don't believe the OP. However I also don't believe that they're working for Google's competition. I just think we're getting less than 1/2 the story. Plus 125K is a HUGE amount of clicks/views for a 12 day period, they'd have to be one of the largest sites on the internet.
- VikingCoder 12y ago> And that sounds like something someone with no concept of libel would say. Pshaw. 1) OP is the one flirting with libel. 2) I responded to that with satire. 3) OP asked me to explain the satire. 4) I explained the satire, and actually did it with generalizations and no specific accusation. And you think step 4 is going to get me nailed for libel? Can you cite any legal precedent? In the United States, satire goes a long, long way. We like our free speech quite a bit. For instance, here's a Microsoft ad claiming that if you buy a Google Chromebook, you'll get something worth $0: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TjQhYBKInwo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TjQhYBKInwo A little satire goes a long way. But I'll let you know if Microsoft lawyers come knocking. Or maybe I should just go ahead and make a baseless Hacker News allegation with no evidence at all, using an anonymous account, asserting that Microsoft is going after people for libel for posting satire? And that they want $125,000 in settlement?
- voxic11 12y agoAre you saying I have no concept of libel? That's libelous and I will sue you!
