I am using Amazon S3 to host static files (CSS, Images and Javascript). I use a few gigabytes per month spread out over multiple blogs and websites, I pay around 60 cents per month (AUD), the highest it ever was is a couple of dollars ($2.50 AUD) because someone ran a scraping script on one of my sites and downloaded a few images. It would be interesting in seeing if any competitor offerings are just as cheap, if not cheaper. I'm paying less than a litre of petrol per month for my image/asset hosting at present.
