Department Of Dirty
- gmac 12y agoI had an email about this today. As far as I can tell, it's protesting about online censorship/filters/porn blocking. But neither the name nor the site content make that immediately obvious, which makes me suspect it will be deeply ineffective. Needs a rethink?
- dmix 12y agoPrimarily because it is a plausible thing the UK would do these days.
- esquivalience 12y agoI think it's very funny... unfortunately I agree, it assumes some knowledge of the subject before visiting, which isn't a great starting point for a protest.
- Stubbs 12y agoIt's not really the start of the protest, ORG have been doing some great stuff recently with Blocked.org.uk (which is where the data for this campaign comes from)
- ixtli 12y agoI for one love seeing the British do what they do well: dry sarcasm.
- gmac 12y agoI'm British and I appreciate dry sarcasm, but I mainly find this weird and confusing.
- shimshim 12y agoThis reads more like they want to block the "Dirty Internet" and for casual users that will be the case.
