Implementation of yesterday's xkcd comic
- Novash 17y agoNo, really. Someone's got a lot of free time on his hands. C'mon! Yesterday's XKCD?
- araneae 17y agoIt might have been two days ago. http://xkcd.com/632/ http://xkcd.com/632/ I've used it to try and verify http://news.ycombinator.com/user?id=jedliu http://news.ycombinator.com/user?id=jedliu, but he (or I guess "it") sadly failed.
- arketyp 17y agoOne day of free time. They do occur.
- Novash 17y agoI know. It is called Christmas
- BerislavLopac 17y agoYou have free time on Christmas? You lucky bastard. Edit: Just occurred to me that you're probably not MWC...
- deleted 17y ago[deleted]
- pax 17y agohis parents must be so proud
- zandorg 17y agoThis makes about as much sense as those 3d posters from the early 90's.
- samg 17y agoIf only it scaled...
- qeorge 17y agoThat's kinda cool. Does it generate the pairs on the fly and store them with a random identifier or is it deterministic?
- kiba 17y agoIs it me or is the site broke?
- boredguy8 17y ago"Okay, mine says 'Unhandled Exception', yours?" http://xkcd.com/632/ http://xkcd.com/632/ (yesterday's xkcd)
- zokier 17y agoAlternates between 404 and "Unhandled Exception". Bit too easy for bots, no?
- anigbrowl 17y agoThis will be useful...when chatbots are closer to passing the Turing test.
- kam 17y agoBut, presumably, solving capchas will be easy for AI by then.
- asdlfj2sd33 17y agoYou know what, I don't find this superfluous. Maybe a bit early but not by much.
- apotheon 17y agoIt's a lot too early. Until they look human, there's always the "meet in the flesh" test. When that happens, I'm not sure it'll matter much.
- steelhive 17y agoWell, guess I'm screwed out of having a relationship yet again. I flunk those captchas about half the time.
- jwecker 17y agoStill, your English is pretty good for a bot. (BTW- welcome! I always knew I'd see it here first).
- Devilboy 17y agoA smart enough AI chatbot will outsource this request to a Mechanical Turk service.
- throw_away 17y agoA smarter AI would have published this site and implemented a weak random seed.
- tocomment 17y agoWhat does VK stand for?
- lonestar 17y agoVoight-Kampff, presumably. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Voight-Kampff_machine http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Voight-Kampff_machine
- brk 17y agoIt should randomize the placement of "you" and "partner".
- blogimus 17y agoJust an observation, the VK captcha doesn't support visually impaired users.
