I used to think taxis and hotels needed to be regulated to ensure quality and safety of the services. I don't anymore. It's pretty obvious by now that users have more trust in the sharing economy services like Uber than they do in the old taxi service. Yet another case where technology has improved on an older solution built by legal means alone.
