What exactly is missing from SublimeText 3 that causes people to think development has been abandoned?
It seems to work great? Do we really need our text editors on a rapid release cycle?
- NoahBuscher 12y agoNo - There's nothing wrong with it. But they have to continue to release builds at least or operating systems may not support it without using a VM and an older version of the OS. That's my main concern at the moment.
- grrowl 12y agoSublime Text 3 is still in beta. It doesn't need a new release but it's been 6 months since the last build, so if it's feature-complete it should be reflected with a major, stable 3.0 release.
