Situation #1: Person A and Person B have consensual sex together. Person A gets paid by Person C, who films this sex and sells the video. (it is called porn) Legal
Situation #2: Person A and Person B have consensual sex together. Person A gets paid by Person B. (it is called prostitution) Illegal
I don't understand how adding a camera crew and having the money come from someone not involved in the actual sex some how makes it legal.
- buckbova 12y agoIn scenario 1, both person A and B receive payment from C.
- jack-r-abbit 12y agoNot always. But that even so that shouldn't make any difference.
- heylefty 12y agoNot necessarily. Some producers star in their own porn videos. So they pay someone to have sex with them. Still 100% legal. The only difference is the existence of a camera. It's kind of insane.
- saraid216 12y agoSame way it does everything else in America: free speech. Note that sex tapes, where no money changes hands, are legal.
