- arseniclifeform 12y agoHowever, this is not as performant. Font Awesome switched away from this to an extra `fa` class for that reason.

- eflowers 12y agoI followed Font Awesome 4.0 really, I am not really the biggest expert on CSS advanced features like wildcard selectors, but as someone else said, I think there's performance hits.
