A brain transplant would require some technology that won't be available for a very long time. You would need to connect the two brains and somehow move or copy all of the data to the new brain, then gradually shutdown the old brain. We're no where close to that, but it will be a very interesting time once that happens. It will be yet another major step in our evolution.
