Question for Matt (or anyone who knows):
What's the best or most cost-effective way to get an entire family sequenced? My younger brother has a rare disorder (diagnosed as autism and twelve other things that mean "we're not sure"), I don't have it, and we've wanted to get everyone sequenced for some time. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
- mattmight 12y agoYou may want to check out LineaGen: http://www.lineagen.com/ http://www.lineagen.com/ It's cheaper than sequencing, and more importantly, they actually know what to do with the data once they have it. Getting your sequencing data is becoming cheaper and cheaper. Analyzing it is not.
