Amazing how gene sequencing has really started to pay off. A member of my family was recently diagnosed with two mutations of the MTHFR gene. This comes after years of trying different horrible depression medications, thyroid drugs, and hormone pills that often made things worse. While some of the treatments are still guesses, it's so much better to finally be treating the root cause and not just guessing at how to suppress symptoms.
