I'm not very impressed with the choice of Nadella so far, he seems too deep into MS culture to be able to see clearly.
But only time will tell, it's still to early to give a verdict.
- Infinitesimus 12y agoDo you care to explain more why you think he can't see clearly? I'm curious about your reasons for the statement. From my limited outside perspective, these layoffs are a good idea since there's bound to be a lot of redundancy and inefficiently in a company of this size
- Systemic33 12y agoBased on the letter he recently sent out, it's extremely long considering the intended receiver (everyone), and you need to read it several times before you fully understand it. Which resulted in big newspapers not agreeing how it was to be understood (eg. Was Xbox a core business, or not) This layoff round was kinda expected.
- worldpeace 12y agoHis writing is shit. Compare his writing to anything from Bezos or Cook.

- Mithaldu 12y agoA good CEO needs to know how to make the right decision and delegate effectively. In this case he has proven that he is unable to make the right decision about his writing skills and delegate that task to someone with the appropiate skills.

- orbifold 12y agoMost likely he did not write that email himself, that's what assistants are there for.
- lttlrck 12y agoI sincerely hope that is not true.
