Does anyone who works in Comcast know what the incentive is for keeping someone from disconnecting?
Maybe there is a bonus involved for the employee with the least amount of disconnections per phone calls received?
- Nursie 12y agoIf you're so obnoxious that they go away, they might not call back to cancel again for a few days, and maybe that means you can charge them for an extra month. Or maybe they just give up all together. Customer retention strategy for assholes basically :)
- rcthompson 12y agoThat's the incentive for the company. The incentive for the rep, presumably, is that they get paid a commission based on how many cancellations they prevent.
- tesq 12y agoDon't be in the bottom 25th percentile for cancellations if you want to have a job next month, so you better use these shady retention techniques management pushes.
