- cliveowen 12y agoWhy not redis?
- rakoo 12y agoredis is not embedded -- you need to run a server.

- rakoo 12y agoIf we're citing names, I'd like to point out that lmdb seems much much better than leveldb: http://symas.com/mdb/ http://symas.com/mdb/ They compared it against all the "similar" dbs (embedded, key-value) and it turns out to be the best in benchmarks.
- malkia 12y agoI've tried mdb, but had some crashes in the initial testing (windows7, 64bit).
- hyc_symas 12y agoDid you submit a bug report? The Windows port of LMDB is developed on Windows7 x64. It is also (naturally enough) used in Windows x64 builds of OpenLDAP and those pass all tests.
- malkia 12y agoNope I didn't. I have to revisit what I did, since I've made a custom build rather than the official one (which in turn might've what caused the crash).
- coleifer 12y agoYou can also try out UnQLite, an embedded key/value store and JSON document store: http://unqlite.org/ http://unqlite.org/ I wrote some python bindings using ctypes if you happen to be using python: http://charlesleifer.com/blog/python-bindings-for-unqlite-an-embedded-nosql-database-json-document-store/ http://charlesleifer.com/blog/python-bindings-for-unqlite-an...
