A lot depends on your situation:
- Do you live in an area with many opportunities?
- Are you willing to relocate?
- How well-regarded is your school / department?
- How have you applied to the jobs you've applied to?
- What kind of work are you particularly interested in and prepared for?
- Does your school provide any placement help?
- compscikid 12y ago- I'm about 500 miles away from SF in southern california - Definitely willing to relocate - School is a top 25-30 I believe - Applied using their online systems - Hard to say what kind of work I'm interested in because I haven't really done too much outside of academia. I took a databases and web applications class and those were definitely enjoyable. - Unfortunately not. It's a big university and individuals tend to get lost in the crowd
