The first sentence doesn't provide any context, or idea of the content. Could you leave something in there about who wrote it?
- dang 12y agoThat's a reasonable request. But HN's title policy is designed to emphasize content more and personalities less. We usually edit author names out of titles even when they're in the original. It isn't hard to figure out who wrote most posts and surely few people are in doubt about this one. We often use the first sentence of a post as a replacement title when the article title itself is misleading or linkbait, so using it here isn't really a stretch.
