US Tax code is the most unfair set of laws I've ever seen to be honest. Most countries wouldn't even dream of demanding the levels of indentured servitude that the IRS feels is their right to collect. In fact, I'd say the only state that is worse at screwing foreigners is - surprise - Switzerland.
